GIRAFFE Associates Ltd has partnered with Cathedral Quarter Business Improvement District (BID) to launch a series of lunchtime ‘Sustainability Bites’ sessions, following a successful taster session in May.

Explore the practical benefits of circularity for your business at the first session, where Sally O’Kane, an experienced resource efficiency and circular economy professional, will share insights on how environmental improvements can help reduce costs, improve efficiencies, and even drive profitability. The session will cover topics such as connecting local challenges to global opportunities, understanding how the idea of a circular economy applies across different sectors, and making a strong business case for environmental sustainability beyond ethical concerns.

Attendees will also from a local CQ BID-area business that has successfully implemented sustainable practices. They will share their experiences, lessons learned, and practical tips for others considering similar approaches. You’ll leave with actionable steps you can start applying right away to align sustainability with your business goals.

The Sustainability Bites series will run on the last Wednesday of the month from June to September between 12:30 – 1:30 pm at The Black Box. The series will offer valuable insights and practical advice for businesses looking to enhance their sustainability practices.
